
The well-known store on O’Connell St., Dublin, shut its doors for the last time today, after liquidators moved in.
The store’s US owners, the Gordon Brothers, sold the business to a joint venture known as Natrium Ltd. Hours later, KMPG were appointed as liquidators for Clerys.
It is understood the store ran at a loss of €4.3m between August 2012 and January 2015.
460 jobs have been lost as a result of the closure.
