The current rent freeze and eviction ban has been extended until August 1st the Government have announced.
Announcing the decision the Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien confirmed that the current rent freeze and eviction ban which was introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic will be extended until next month.
O’Brien said the decision will allow the Government to introduce longer term measures that will protect tenants and owners in the future.
