A search operation for a man missing since Sunday is continuing in Co Kildare.
The search comes after Declan Reid, 34, went missing whilst kayaking with his 8 year old son near Ardreigh Lock on the River Barrow, at around 3pm, on Sunday afternoon.
Although thankfully the 8 year old boy was rescued after a passerby saw them in trouble, the search for Declan is continuing.
It is understood that The Garda Water Unit is assisting in the search along with local gardaí, Civil Defence and local volunteers.
