The remains of an alleged rhino poacher have been found after he was trampled on by an elephant and then eaten by a pride of lions in South Africa.
According to reports in South Africa, the man was charged at and trampled on by the elephant after it got spooked when he came up from behind him.
The incident which occurred at Kruger National Park, on Tuesday, has led to the park to issue a warning to the public with management at the park saying its highly dangerous to enter the park on foot.
It is believed that a pair of trousers and a skull were found by a seach party on Thursday.
The park say they believe the man was eaten by the pride sometime after the elephant attack.
The park have offered their condolences to the man’s family.
