Rip-off Ireland remains truly alive and well, as Electric Ireland has announced another increase in its gas and electricity bills.
The latest increase will kick in on August 1, and it will mean that gas bills become 29.2% dearer, and residential electricity bills 10.9% more expensive.
The company already raised its prices in March.
