The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a motorist sadly died in a crash between a car and a truck on the N20 road early on Monday morning.
The accident happened in New Twopothouse, near Mallow, Co Cork shortly before 7am. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for a time while emergency services dealt with the situation.
