The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, following a crash in Co. Galway that claimed the life of a female teenager.
The incident happened in Oughterard, Co. Galway, shortly after 1am.
It is understood that the car in which she was a passenger struck a wall. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a young male in his 20s, was not injured.
