The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a man in his 20s died when his car hit a wall.
The incident happened in the village of Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The man, who was the driver of the car, died at the scene. A female passenger was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
