A road crash has resulted in the death of a child in the north.
The incident occurred on the Rowreagh Road, Kircubbin, on Monday evening.
It is understood that the child was walking along the road at the time of the collision.
The child was taken to the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald, where he was pronounced dead.
