The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after a woman in her 60s was tragically killed when her jeep crashed into a ditch.
The accident happened some time on Sunday morning in Birchwood, Kilmoganny, on the R697 road between Carrick-on-Suir and Kilmoganny. The crashed vehicle was not spotted until the evening time.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have travelled the R697 road between the hours of 7am and 8.30pm on Sunday 28th May to contact Thomastown on 056 – 7754150, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
