Gardai in Co Louth have issued a fresh plea for information over the murder of Cameron Reilly

Gardaí in Co Louth have issued a fresh appeal for information over the murder of 18 year Dunleer teenager Cameron Reilly.

Cameron who was tragically found dead at approximately 8am near Riverdale, on Saturday morning was last seen in the vicinity of Ardee Road, Dunleer in the early hours of Saturday morning, at approximately 12.30am.

Gardaí say they are also currently searching for Cameron’s phone which is  a 64gb space grey Apple iPhone 8X with a green hard back cover.

Officers investigating the case say the phone could provide crucial information, they have encouraged the public to check their rubbish bins in search for the phone.

They have also urged anyone who may have bought or has been offered the phone to come forward and contact them.

Meanwhile taxi drivers or bus drivers who may have been in the area in the early hours of Saturday morning, are also being asked to assist Gardai if they have dash cam footage or may have seen anything unusual.

Gardaí have also appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Drogheda Garda Station on 041-9874200, or any Garda Station.
