A man in his 30s, has been killed in a car crash on the N2 in Co Louth between Collon and Ardee.
The accident happened at around 1am where it’s understood the car spun into a pole killing the sole occupant who was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
Part of the road remains closed for an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
