A man in his 60s died in a road accident in Co Cork on Thursday morning.
The man was the only person in the van which crashed at Gleann, Dunmanway at 9.45am.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed to allow for a forensic investigation of the crime scene and local diversions have been put in place.
The Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have information about the accident to contact them, especially if they have dash cam footage.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has camera footage is asked to contact Clonakilty Garda Station or any other Garda station on 023 882 1570.
