Gardai have confirmed today that a 70-yr-old man has sadly died in a single vehicle collision near Midleton in Co Cork.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 2pm on Friday near Ballyedekin, Co Cork. It’s understood that a passer-by say the man’s jeep crashed on the grass verge of the road.
Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene when emergency personnel arrived. The scene was cordoned off for a garda examination with witnesses asked to contact Midleton Garda Station on 021-4621550 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 66-61-11.
