Iron Man And Sherlock Holmes star Robert Downey Jr has confirmed that a third instalment of Guy Richie’s Sherlock Holmes is in the works.
Downey Jr, who played the notorious detective in the previous two movies, has revealed that a third film is in development.
Downey Jr broke the news while he was speaking to Reddit, he said: ”Yes, we have a Sherlock 3 in development. We want it to be the best of the series, so that’s a pretty tall order.”
His co star in the franchise Jude Law, who played the role of Dr. John Watson, had also previously hinted that a third movie would be made. Last year he revealed that writing on the much-anticipated third installment had commenced.
