Over seven million viewers watching Elton John’s performance on the BBC are just some of the numbers at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, reports RTE.

Figures available from the event at Worthy Farm, Somerset also include average weather temperatures and the number of arrests.

Coverage of Glastonbury on the BBC ran throughout the weekend, but not all of the acts were shown direct to TV.

An average of 7.3 million viewers watched BBC One between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m, reports RTE.

The BBC said it was the biggest late-night audience for a Glastonbury set and the broadcaster had a nearly 50% share of all TV audiences at the time on Sunday, reports RTE.

According to the BBC, more than 200,000 festival-goers attended the event from June 22-26.

The dates included the Foo Fighters giving a surprise concert as well as billed performances by Rick Astley, Lana Del Rey, Guns N’ Roses and Yusuf/Cat Stevens.

The UK Met Office said the nearest weather station to Glastonbury in Yeovilton, Somerset, recorded maximum temperatures of 26.1C on Saturday and Sunday, reports RTE.
