Many on social media are claiming that Hazel Chu is a hypocrite and she admitted that she did not seek permission for a political event in St. Stephens Green where she announced her candidacy for the Seanad.
The Lord Mayor of Dublin had condemned and vilified ordinary Irish citizens who have marched for their God given rights but as it turns the Green Party chairwoman did not even ask permission to hold a political event in the centre of Dublin city.
The Office of Public Works has confirmed no permission was requested from Chu, whose position seems to have gone to her head, the OPW further confirmed it does not allow political events on its grounds the Independent reported.
Chu is running for a seat on the Commercial and Industrial panel in the Seanad as an independent candidate after Green Party leader Eamon Ryan confirmed she will not receive the backing of his party.
