Following the inquest of a 23-yr-old man who passed away from a catastrophic brain bleed five days after receiving the Covid vaccination, a coroner urged that medical practitioners report adverse responses to the vaccine to the appropriate authorities. The coroner recorded a narrative verdict, reports Breaking News.

On August 17, 2021, Roy Butler of Waterford’s O’Reilly Road passed away in Cork University Hospital (CUH). Five days before, in a drugstore, he had gotten a Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine.

On August 16, 2021, he was sent to University Hospital Waterford and then, after he got very sick at home, was transferred to CUH, reports Breaking News.

Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster described the situation as “baffling” during an inquest last month after performing a postmortem on Mr. Butler.

Over a 30-year span, Dr. Bolster stated she had performed 20,000 postmortems. She stated that she had never encountered a situation in which a young kid died from such a bleed and no explanation could be provided.

She said that the lack of scientific research prevented her from drawing any conclusions about the vaccine’s cause, reports Breaking News.

According to Dr. Bolster, it was impossible to prove or rule out a connection between Mr. Butler’s death and the vaccination.

Philip Comyn, the coroner, offered three recommendations on Thursday. The first concerned the idea of educating the public about the importance of reporting vaccine-related side effects, reports Breaking News.

The second was letting people know “to whom they should report these adverse reactions.”

The HSE and all medical and professional bodies should be “reminded of the need to insure such adverse reactions are noted and reported promptly to the revelant authorities,” according to the third suggestion, reports Breaking News.
