The number of deaths on Irish roads in past year have risen according to new figures published by the RSA.
In figures published for the year 2019, the RSA say a total of 148 people sadly lost their lives in 2019 following 137 fatal crashes.
The figures which marks a 4% increase on 2018, also found that 25 more drivers sadly lost their lives in 2019.
However the RSA have revealed that the number of pedestrian and passenger deaths have declined in 2019.
