RTÉ have confirmed that they will broadcast the funeral ceremony of the late broadcaster Gay Byrne.
In an announcement the national broadcaster confirmed that the service will be aired live on Friday morning.
It is understood that Bryan Dobson will present coverage of service on RTÉ One and RTÉ News Now from 11:30am.
The service which will be held at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Church, Dublin, will have commentary from John Bowman and Mary Kennedy.
RTÉ also say the service will be streamed on the RTÉ Player and RTÉ.ie.
