RTE has been at the brunt end of many people’s outrage over the past 21 months as the pandemic unfolded.
The national broadcaster has been held to account over its coverage of the pandemic with many on social media claiming that it is now a propaganda machine and a puppet for the government.
At one point, RTE moved some of their outside broadcasts indoors as a result of people speaking their mind live on air.
None more so than in the clip below where people are shouting “RTE is the virus”, forcing the broadcaster to pull the reporter’s clip live on air due to people speaking their mind as to what they think of the national broadcaster.
