Staff working at RTE could be soon facing pay cuts in order to reduce costs at the broadcaster.
Under the new measures which aims to save the national broadcaster €60m, staff earning of €40,000 a year would have a 3% to 5% pay cut imposed.
The measures would also see a reduction in salary protection and sick pay which would be more in line with public service levels.
It is also expected that there would a be a reduction in staff allowances and a voluntary redundancy scheme introduced.
RTE say the measures which would occur over the next three years are being introduced in order to bring the broadcaster to a sustainable financial position.
