Beast from the East part 2! Siberian winds to see Ireland covered in “significant snowfall”

Here we go folks, snow 2021 is coming towards us and it looks bad.

The national forecaster, Met Eireann has predicted that heavy snowfall will descend onto the country possibly starting from as early as Saturday morning and lasting until at least next Wednesday.

The severe snow cold snap will be a result of Siberian winds closing in on the Irish coast and bringing with it horrendous amounts of heavy snowfall.

From County Antrim right down to County Waterford is likely to see the worst of it with the east coast emergency services already bracing for significant accumulations of snow.

It’s understood that next week could see even further amounts of very heavy snow with the Atlantic swirls meeting cold easterly air from Siberia.

The weather phenomenon is the same that brought us the “Beast from the East” in February 2018 and also the heavy snow in 1982.

People are advised to share this information with their friends. Blizzards and possibly a red alert weather warning will be issued.
