RTE’s Northern Ireland news correspondent Tommy Gorman was interviewed on Friday night’s Late Late Show.
Gorman spoke about the changes that he’s seen over his 40 year career in Northern Ireland and how peace must never be taken for granted. He said he’s looking forward to spending time with his wife in his native Sligo town.
Vincent Kearney will take over from Gorman in the coming weeks.
The 65-yr-old reporter retires with a very big State funded pension.
