Rubbish and gas canisters still litter Brighton beach following LGBTQ+ pride celebrations

Volunteers are still struggling to clean up Brighton beach on the Southern coast of England following LGBTQQIP2SAA pride celebrations last month.

Around 1,000 volunteers have been working overtime to clean up the beach, which is littered with thousands of disposable BBQ’s, bottles, glass bottles, can, cigarette stubs and condoms.

In a peculiar trend the beach is also littered with thousands of nitrous oxide canisters.

The phallic shaped canisters contain nitrous oxide, otherwise known as laughing gas, which is believed to be the second most commonly used recreational drug in England and Wales following cannabis.

Around 250,000 people crowed into Brighton for the annual LGBTQQIP2SAA pride celebrations and for a concert that was headlined by Kylie Minogue.
