The frequency of DART trains during rush hour will be increased from next year to cope with rising demand, it has been announced today.
Currently, DART trains run every 15 minutes during the busiest periods of the day. This frequency is to be increased to 10 minutes.
According to Iarnrod Eireann, passenger numbers have soared more than 6% this year, justifying the increase.
