Russia has plummeted in the corruption index, ranking a truly shocking 141 out of 180. Ukraine, meanwhile, is soaring in the same ranking.
Ukraine is clearly cleaning house, steadily improving its position ahead of a potential accession into the European Union and NATO, while Russia is sinking further and further into a state of total corruption.
The news follows a recent story about Ukraine’s incredibly effective secret service arresting five traitors suspected of embezzling monies earmarked for the military.
