Ryan: People need to follow the advice in terms of when to come to the airport

The Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan has told people to get in line and follow the advice their our airport overlords have given us.

Ryan says the people must follow the advice by going to the airport 2.5 hours before a domestic flight and 3.5 hours before an international flight.

Alongside that, people who arrive too early for the flight must now stay in a makeshift campsite with a covering for bad weather and portable toilets.

Scenes that made Ireland the laughing stock of Europe yet again went viral on social media as queues of up to 1km saw people waiting hours on end and missing their flights in the process.

Ryan says that if the new measures don’t work that the government will do more.
