“Ryan should go” – Motorists claim Eamon Ryan should reconsider his position as pump prices at the pumps go through the roof

Many people on social media believe that the Green Party’s Eamon Ryan should reconsider his position as fuel prices around the country are going through the roof.

It appears as though Eamon Ryan is very much out of touch with the average Irish person in relation to their transport needs.

Both housing and renting costs have climbed over the past year but not far behind are the bills that people are seeing when they’re going to petrol stations around the country.

The main culprit in people’s eyes, it would seem, is the Green Party leader Eamon Ryan.

Hard-pressed motorists are facing massive price hikes at the pumps, courtesy of the minority Green Party.

Eamon Ryan’s focus on raising the carbon tax by €7.50 per tonne will translate into more misery piled onto car users, who are already paying extortionate insurance premiums.

Home heating fuels are also expected to go up from May 2022.

Many people on social media have been commenting that they’re seeing massive prices at garages around the country since the Budget passed.

One social media user said: “It’s impossible to just go for a spin anywhere now, it’s costs a fortune. Eamon Ryan really doesn’t want anyone to have a car at all”.
