The National Public Health Emergency Team have urged the public to get their Covid-19 vaccine as cases continue.

Speaking at the National Public Health Emergency Team briefing, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has urged those over 60 to take their booster vaccine as soon as it becomes available to them.

Meanwhile Rachel Kenna, Chief Nursing Officer has urged those who are not yet vaccinated to get their vaccine as it will not help protect themselves but others around them.
