Ryanair apologises to man they banned from flying for distuptive behaviour even though he wasn’t even the flight

Eoin Michael Cahill, a quantity surveyor from Cork, has filed a defamation case against Ryanair in the High Court, reports The Irish Examiner.

He claims that the airline has falsely accused him of engaging in disruptive behaviour on a particular date when he neither travelled on a Ryanair flight nor was present at Dublin Airport.

Mr. Cahill currently works with the Jones Engineering Group on a project in Copenhagen, and his flights between Denmark and Ireland are arranged by his employer, reports Irish Examiner.

Mr. Cahill’s solicitors, CW Ashe and Company, have requested details of the alleged disruptive behaviour from Ryanair, but the airline has not provided the requested information.
