Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for several counties ahead of expected freezing conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Clare, Tipperary, Galway, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, and Wicklow, will kick in at 3am tonight and remain in effect until 1pm on Thursday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience low temperatures and some sleet falls at times.
