Budget airline Ryanair is facing a record annual loss, as Covid-19 decimates the travel industry.
According to a financial statement released, the company is set to lose almost €1bn in the current fiscal year, the largest loss in Ryanair’s history by far.
A Ryanair spokesperson said that the company’s cash reserves are still strong, at around €3.5bn after the projected loss.
