Budget airline Ryanair has issued a warning that it may close its bases in Cork and Shannon during the winter months due to the ongoing travel restrictions.
If the bases were to close, 130 direct jobs would be on the line, plus many more indirect positions.
Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has been very critical of the Government’s handling of the pandemic, and particularly about the ‘Green List.’
