Budget airline Ryanair has been ordered by a Spanish court to stop charging what it says are ‘abusive’ cabin baggage fees.
The issue arose after a customer lodged a complaint about being forced to pay extra for bringing more than one baggage item into the cabin.
The court upheld the customer’s complaint and ordered Ryanair to stop the 20e levy for bringing a 10kg item into the cabin for any flights originating in Spain.
