Ryanair passengers might be forced to wait up to six months to get their refunds, it has emerged today

Ryanair passengers whose flights were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic might be forced to wait up to six months to get their refunds, it has emerged today.

The ongoing controversy with the refunds issue has meant that Ryanair has found itself owing about €1.2bn to passengers. The airline’s CEO, Michael O’Leary said today that €400m out of that has been paid back already.

The airline recently announced its intentions to have at least 40% of its fleet back in the air by July.
