The landmark talks between Ryanair and unions are set to continue today after what has been described as ‘positive’ by the airline but that unions claim that the company haven’t lived up to their promises on paper yet.
It is the first time in its 32-year history that the airline recognizes unions.
The talks are aimed at averting a planned pilot strike and will continue early this morning.
The strike action was called due to the pilots’ demands to have independent representation within the airline.
