From the month of May, the carrier’s check-in fee will be reduced from €70 to €45 euro.
This change is part of a raft of measures to be taken by the airline to improve the passenger experience, and also to mark the airline’s 30th birthday. Other planned improvements include new seats with more legroom and improved in-flight meals.
Ryanair has also indicated an overhaul of its aircrafts’ interiors and brand new uniforms for cabin crew.
Michael O’Leary said: “2014/15 was a record year for Ryanair, as we grew our traffic to 90m customers and started to dramatically improve the customer experience.”
