Gardaí have sadly confirmed that the man who was struck in a hit and run incident in Coolock on Wednesday night, sadly passed away last night.

The victim of the tragic incident Karl Robertson, aged 28, died as result of his he sustained after he was hit by a vehicle believed to be a white Renault Megane van, whilst he was jogging on Hazelwood Drive at about 9.45pm on Wednesday night.
However Gardaí have since revealed that a man has come forward at Coolock Garda station to help them with their investigation.
They also say they are currently carrying out a technical examination of the van which was discovered burned out a short time later at Beechlawn Grove, Coolock.
