There was some sad news announced late last night as Gardaí confirmed that a man has tragically died following a road traffic accident in Co Cavan.
It is understood the victim a man aged in his 20s, died in a single vehicle collision in Lower Lavey Co Cavan on the N3.
Gardaiw say the man was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with fencing on the roadside.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
