Police in the Canadian city of Quebec have confirmed that six people have been killed and another eight have been wounded in a shooting at a mosque on Sunday night.
According to reports two armed men opened on innocent civilians who were attending the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre to say evening prayers.
In the past few hours police confirmed the death toll which was originally thought to be five, has risen to six after another victim sadly passed away.
Police say they are treating the incident as a terror attack and have arrested two people in connection with the incident.
