A 70-yr-old Dublin woman has been killed after being struck by a car this afternoon in Dublin.
The accident happened at Howth Road/Collins Avenue East junction this afternoon at 12.30p.m.
The woman was removed to the Mater Hospital but sadly passed away and was later pronounced dead. The road was closed, and Garda Forensic Collision investigators have carried out an examination.
