Sale of alcoholic drinks may soon be banned on flights after spate of drink-related incidents




The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) is reportedly considering a total ban on the sale of alcoholic drinks on flights, after a number of drink-related incidents in recent times.

The number of such incidents has increased significantly in the last 12 months, according to new figures just released.

According to the IAA, both Aer Lingus and Ryanair would support such move.
