Gardaí in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that a woman aged in her 20s has died following a road traffic incident.
It is understood the woman was killed after the car she was travelling in collided with a SUV on the N21 at Meenleitrim, Castleisland.
Gardaí say the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene whilst the driver of the SUV was take to University Hospital Kerry with non-life threatening injuries.
They added that investigations are currently ongoing.
