

Sanitary towel manufacturer Procter & Gamble have confirmed that they are to remove feminine symbols from their products from this December.
According to The Mirror newspaper, the company behind the Always brand said they are to remove female symbols from their products following a campaign on social media.
It is understood that the company decided to make the move in order to make their products more inclusive.
The Mirror reports that the decision comes after a number of people questioned why their products such as sanitary towels contain female symbols.
In a number of posts those calling for change stated that a number of transgender and non-binary people use their products.
The comments prompted the company to reply and state that they have made decision to remove feminine symbols from this December.
