It has emerged this morning that Irish Water boss John Tierney will take first exit left off the utility with a €300k severance package.
This is despite the fact that he presided over one of the biggest displays of incompetence and ruination shown by a national utility over the course of the years.
Mr. Tierney first caused public outrage when he accidentally revealed that €50m had been splurged on consultancy fees while Irish Water was being set up. He was never allowed near a microphone since.
