While politicians play a game of see no evil/hear no evil, new figures released reveal that every day of the month of February saw one more family becoming homeless.
3,105 people were homeless in the last week of February, which represents an increase of almost 3% in just one month.
As it stands, 1,881 of the people listed as homeless were children, while 600 were single parents. More than two-thirds of these are based in Dublin.
