Publicans have been posting their thoughts on social media and local radio about scenes of young people acting out on the streets of Killarney at the weekend.
They’re claiming that the same scenes will happen up and down the country if pubs aren’t allowed to reopen as young people are buying drinks in supermarkets and having house parties with their friends.
Social media has been awash with commentary after footage emerged showing a large number of young people partying the night away on the streets of Killarney, Co. Kerry.
The footage appears to even show one young man standing on top of a defibrillator station – something that particular didn’t go down well with viewers.
Other footage shows men fighting, women falling and screaming and practically no one adhering to the 2 metre rule of staying apart from each other.
