The US has surpassed 6m coronavirus cases, the highest number for an individual country anywhere in the world.
Official figures say that the US has so far seen 6,006,327 cases, with 183,203 deaths.
Health authorities blame the disastrous management of the crisis by the Trump Administration as the main reason for the calamity.
