A Scottish Parliament elections candidate has sparked outrage by claiming that gay marriage is linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The bizarre claims were made by Peter Tait, who’s running as an independent candidate for the Shetland MSP seat at Holyrood.
Mr. Tait has long had anti-gay views, but many are now saying he’s gone too far by suggesting that the Covid-19 crisis was caused by gay marriage.
